
“Mike and I were very close, we used to go to this restaurant called Love’s…and we used to get a ton of dinners and we’d drive around in the car looking for homeless people to give them to.”
Reginald Garcia took these exclusive photographs in the 1970s. Garcia was a student at California Tech and a freelance photographer when a friend of his sister’s, who worked for CBS Records, asked him to take pictures of the Jacksons at Gower Studios in Hollywood . He told the interviewer: “I have some color photos that show the Jackson Five dressed in blue tuxedos, singing on a soundstage. The black-and-white images were taken during breaks in the video shoot.”
